Moonfest 2009 took place on Sunday, July 19, 2009 at the NASA Ames Research Center. This website is an archive of the event; please read on!


Moonfest is a lunar festival to be held at NASA Ames Research Center on July 19, 2009. It shall be a celebration of all things Moon, focused around the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 11 landing and the present day LCROSS mission. The event is FREE.

All are welcome: amateur astronomers, families with kids, those who generally find space cool— everyone!
